This site was created because it is
overwhelmingly probable that no one has told you most of these things before, in or out
of “church”. My personal credentials are
deservedly lacking, so let’s just place credibility where it belongs – on the
Holy Bible and its verses. It is a unique book,
inspired by a unique, all-powerful, all-knowing, tri-part balanced being – the
Most High Almighty Lord God. It is the
only book with a powerful spiritual life in and of itself.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. |
Its dependability is firmly established by miraculously changed lives. Its truth is supported by the facts of science and medicine inscribed in it thousands of years prior to natural man validating the same facts. Even more incredible are the prophesy-related events that are statistically improbable beyond doubt (reasonable and unreasonable) by any measure. The Holy Bible speaks for itself.
Isaiah 40:25 To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One. |
Now, when Biblical deceit comes out of a church pulpit or a TV or wherever, there is a “preacher” saying something that he “uses” scripture to support. But the deceitful preacher has added to the words, taken away from the words, changed the words, privately interpreted the words, and/or wrongly divided the word of truth.
Having given seminaries and translators and preachers the freedom to mess with the words, we now have tens of thousands of Christian sects around the world. You can't just pick one and blindly believe. You can't just depend that truth will come out of a random pulpit; you must always ultimately verify and seek truth from the Holy Bible, not from a person.
Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God is pure; ... |
Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you. |
Deceitful preaching comes to you in the form of a lie, subtly inspired by the unholy spirit. You can rationalize that the preacher is not a liar; he is just wrong or ignorant or lazy or stubborn or proud or repeating what he has been taught, or whatever. The fact remains that you are being exposed to a lie and the preacher is the messenger. From the sheep’s viewpoint, you are actually being lied to by a “shepherd” whom you trust to some degree.
Jeremiah 7:4 ... Trust ye not in lying words |
Almost all preaching today is about salvation, how to live a successful worldly life on earth, and what to do with your money. A few pages of this site are about salvation and there are a few words in this paragraph about living a successful worldly life on earth. One very short paragraph on money is included. The rest is what the Bible says about doctrinal subjects and a few other important lessons.
OK, I will just tell you right now not to lie, murder, rob, drink alcohol, smoke, cuss, use illegal drugs, gossip, commit fornication or adultery, have any idols, and other such things. Basically, you instinctively know right from wrong and if you have to ask, it's probably wrong.
As Jesus said, “Go and sin no more”, the equivalent of which would be, “Go and behave yourself.”
And the advice beyond that would be - serve Him because that is the easiest way to stay out of trouble. It is the best way to influence your children and others towards God. The eternal rewards are out of this world. And it gives pleasure to the Savior.
Revelation 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. |
As they say, “take no prisoners”. This expose’ is purposely disrespectful to the lying preaching professional, just as Jesus was.
Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. |
Despite supposedly good intentions, the preacher putting forth a lie is espoused to untruth. Will the lying preacher/wolf change when truth is revealed to him? Of course not; he can’t afford to. His income would be compromised. His pride would be bruised. And he would have to disown those extra books that his denomination “uses”. Ouch!
Ecclesiastes 12:12 And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh. |
Will you begin studying the Bible for yourself and building a sound doctrinal foundation? Will you learn and grow from reliable preaching and teaching and be able to discern the truth for yourself?
Malachi 3:18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not. |
I hope so and there you have the purpose for this site. So to you this expose’ is respectful enough to keep you tuned in. There are some straight forward constructive criticisms from the Bible which you should be able to take just like I did.
I pray that you will be encouraged to discover what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God for you.
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. |
Please know this: I am a messenger, just a guide to Biblical information. This site is obviously not like the inspired scriptures it is commenting on, but it was written with much spiritual guidance and it is bathed in prayer. It is a message to me as much as anyone else and that is the way real writing and real preaching about the word of God should be.
A truthful author or preacher can write and speak with authority, but in its essence, the authority is the Lord’s. It is based on His Book and the author or preacher is just a messenger. When the untruthful author or preacher writes or preaches on his own authority, God is not there. When the truthful author or preacher gives God the glory and prayerfully puts out seeds of truth with a pure heart, God will somehow honor it because:
II Timothy 2:9 ... the word of God is not bound. |
I do have some credible observations after thousands of hours reading and studying (there is a big difference). I have listened to preachers and teachers. I am not a preacher, but I have preached a little. I have taught a little. I sing, pray, worship, and witness. I also sin to some degree (I John 1:8) and hang out with the brethren.
Four things are abundantly clear to me about virtually all people:
(1) Very few of us know much about the Bible.
(2) Very few of us know how to learn from the Bible.
(3) Very few preachers and clergy (as a percentage of all preachers and clergy) are doctrinally sound.
(4) Very few of the doctrinally sound preachers know much about events leading up to eternity. None of the clergy with unsound doctrine know much of anything about events leading up to eternity.
This funneling of observational truths concludes that very, very few people actually know much about their future, starting with today. But it’s all in the Bible waiting on you. God knew you were coming, so He had it written ahead of time and dealt you the measure of faith to believe it.
This short, simple work will show you, from English scripture alone, why the Bible can be trusted and how to study the Bible. It discloses the over-riding theme of the Bible and the basic sound doctrines of Christian belief in cliff-note style. It adds several extra bytes that are worth knowing. It is sincerely intended to keep you from being misled by the devil and his wolf-like children of pride in sheep’s clothing.
This is not just the smooth milk of salvation; it is the strong meat of knowing the future. But even a young child can wolf down a grilled steak! I never cease to be amazed how a humble child less than ten years old can have a much better grasp of doctrinal scriptural truths than many proud Doctor of Theology mouthpieces. Some of these doctors have led millions of people over decades of time. The question is, "Where have they led them to?"
II Timothy 3:15 and that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. |
I have tried to give as short of an explanation as possible of the various component subjects. I do not profess to know everything and will point that out at various points. I do profess to know what the Bible says about some things and have written accordingly at most points. Not all scriptural references for all subjects are included. The referenced ones are to the point. There are others you can find that will further solidify the doctrines. That leaves mucho room for you to continue studying and building on the foundational beliefs.
I am very sure of this:
If you study your Holy Bible and grasp its truths, you will know more about your Biblical future than the vast majority of the “Christian” leaders in this world, let alone the vast, vast majority of the so-called “believers”.
I suggest you use this site as a reference for specific subjects and as a stepping stone to further enlightenment. Even if I say so myself - it is a very good Bible study format for several weeks. It can be used in a church or in your home. At least give it to your children to read! You give them books about financial and sex education. Please educate them on how to actually get to heaven and earn eternal rewards.
Please realize that this site is not meant to impress “scholars” of any kind, actually quite the opposite. It is written in common, everyday American street English without footnotes and appendices. Common, everyday people like me can understand it. It is as if we were having a conversation with our neighbor on the front porch or a friend at Starbucks.
It is just a collection of things learned by studying the Bible and verifying information received from trustworthy sources. It is written so you can “get it”. There are no private interpretations.
II Peter 1:20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. |
It just shows what the Bible says. If you are representative of most everyday, common people who believe in God, you are about to read things you have never heard. Just know that it all came out of the Holy Bible, which you may have not yet read by yourself.
If all you have ever done was listen to other people tell you about the Bible, you are about to be shocked.
I bid God’s speed to you and yours. See you at the rapture! Soon!
Ephesians 6:17-20
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
